Review:

I've used both of them thoroughly, the medium one is super natural looking and the shade Radiance is for fancier days where you'd like to have a bit of highlight or glitter on your face along with the other benefits.

I totally agree to the fact that it's super makeup as it does the job of a primer,base,foundation,sunscreen,moisturize and smoothed my skin and brightens it up too so everything in one , what more would you want from a BB cream?! It's best for people on the run

As far as rating goes as a BB cream they worked perfectly so I give them 4.5/5 stars! I would definitely repurchase it!

Today we're talking about a gentle face cream that you can use any time during the whole day or night, it's a 24 hour self proclaimed skin care cream that smells heavenly.

What we thought about the packaging?

Super simple and easy to open and start using as you can see in the images below. It's a 50 ml jar of awesome moisturizing cream. As you can see the box has all the details of it's ingredients, manufacturing and directions of using it.

As you can see it has a 12 months expiry period , I used it for around 6 months. If I used it more regularly I think I would've been done with it in 3 months time. But it does have a lot in it so if you don't take a palm full of it every time you use it , it'll last you months!

Review:

I have combination to dry skin but when winter approaches it becomes only dry sadly, so anyhow I have never found a cream that could moisturize my skin and also not feel heavy and oily on it. That was up until I tried Bottega Verde's 24- hour face cream with moisturizing,soothing aloe vera juice.

As you must all know Aloe Vera is really good for all skin issues and even healthy for eating but bitter so let's not go there external use is what I prefer hehe, I loved it from the instant I tried it at the shop it has an instant cooling effect when it touches your skin and is super light as it absorbs in a matter of minutes. Makes your feel skin feel moisturized instantly and stays that way for hours honestly.

What you'll see when you unpack it?

It's seal packed so once you open it the freshness and scent is intact and did I mention the scent is beautiful!

Overall, it has been a wonderful moisturizer for me and I am definitely going to repurchase it & would recommend everyone to try it , it's not for a particular skin type as far as I remember but the store staff will help you choose as they have a range of these creams for all skin types, I have dry skin and this one worked for me!

Best Brush Cleaning Innovation by Sigma!

Girllllls! If you're a makeup junkie and have a drawer or should I say lots of drawers filled with makeup then you must've heard or probably own one or many of Sigma makeup brushes by now, yeah? We got 5 of Sigma's A.M.A.Z.I.N.G Brushes by the Sigma Affliate Program and we instantly fell in love with them! Check out their review here.

Khair! Along with Brushes Sigma sent their then newly launched Sigma Spa Mat which is a silicon made glove type mat that efficiently cleans away those stubborn leftover foundation and eye shadows stuck to your bristles of your brushes. How cool is that?!?

They're are quite a few steps to how to use this Spa mat so we decided to give you a step-to-step pictorial on how you can effectively use this mat! I've already done a video tutorial on the steps on my Snapchat @Areesha0logy and that's why the images are a little blurred as I took screenshots from my Snapchat.

First for the informative part - this mat has two side one for the Face Brushes and the other for Eye Brushes which will make you ladies understand what I've been going on about in the pictorial.

This below is the Face Brushes Cleaning side of the Glove: Starting from Rinse- Wash - Refine.

Then there's a Refine Plus section , which I think is super fun!

This is the Eye Brushes Cleaning side on the opposite side of the glove! Again Rinse-Wash-Refine!

Then yup you guessed it ... the Refine Plus Section but to get this you'll have to flip the Refine Plus side of the Eye Brushes Section.

Secondly, the pictorial - you slip it on like I've shown below, or you could also slip in your thumb and pinky finger on the side slits of the glove for better grip:

Its a multitasking glove!

You take the brush in question and start brushing it right to left on the Rinse Section of the glove:

Then you move downwards to the Wash Section of the Sigma Glove and drop a few drops of any mild soap or if you have SigMagic then that onto it:

Once your done with that starting moving your brush in circular motions or any way you'd like on the Wash Section of the glove till you see foam appearing and the residue of the brush coming off.

As you can see the Face Side and Eye Side of the glove have different formats of each side:

Once your done with the Main Washing Section , you'll have to switch on your water tap and move to the Refine Section and move your brush back and forth.

Now, one more thing to note is that the glove has a hidden Refine Plus Section too just to get that extra squeaky finish to your cleaning.

Gently squeeze brush head with your hand to remove excess water. Once you're through all the steps you end up with these awesome clean set of brushes , that are ready to be dried!

This is literally the best thing in the makeup industry have come across and we honestly recommend this product to all you girls. No matter what type of makeup brushes you own this Sigma Spa mat will def help you out. It's quick and simple and works well with any type of soap. I used a delicate lavender hand soap, and it foams ups amazingly!

In the end , you have a beautiful bunch of awesome squeaky clean and ready to use brushes after you dry them of course for which they have an awesome new invention the Dry N Shape Tower so you're brushes don't loose their initial functional shape!

Review: Acido Glicolico Peel Off Mask by B.V

Assalamalaikum Ya'll,

How's everyone doing? Ready and geared up for Eid? I'm well I'm just glad I have holidays on Eid! Now, enough of the chit chat let's get to business shall we? Below is a short review about my go to peel off mask y Bottega Verde a skincare brand we don't stop talkign about because it's helped our skin a lot, this below is my quick fix when I feel my skin has got polluted enough and needs a refreshed feel!

Packaging: is a simple plastic tube with lots of product for 100 ml honestly it feels like so much more, with a turn of the cap you'll see a small hole at the top which is what allows just the right amount of product to be released and applied.

What they claim? It eliminates impurities and dead cells from the skin s surface using the peeling action of Glycolic Acid, the smallest and the most active of the Alphahydroxide Acids , primarily found in cane sugar , that has the property of gently restoring the superficial corneous layer giving a brighter complexion.

Instructions: Apply the jelly like consistency mask evenly all over your face and wait for it to dry after around ten minutes gently remove the mask from your face.

After you're done removing it , use a toner to neutralize your skin's pH which increases when we use a face wash or a face mask and this one has fruits therefore is acidic in nature so we need to neutralize our skin after using it to help close back our pores. I usually use the toner after washing my face lightly with water after removing the mask but you can do it without washing your face up to you I'm not an expert just sharing my way.

Review: Alright, so I'm giving the exact review that I felt when I used this right? So when I took a little of the product out the jelly like consistency made me a little uneasy for a bit but then it's a mask and I'm not used to them so I pushed that feeling away and continued applying it , it went on surprisingly easily all over my face and I felt a tingly feeling on a few pimples that I had but I has been warned about that by the sales lady at the Bottega Verde Store who was super helpful to see which product suits my skin type best etc.. Anyhow once the mask dries you don't feel a thing just those few tingles here and there that too only for the first two minutes then they magically disappear hehe and once you take it off A. you get to see how clean your skin has become I feel a visible difference of just maybe the dead skin cells peeling away and a lightness of the skin which shows that it has been exfoliated and therefore gives a fresh feeling just as they claim. And there is so much product in this tube that if you don't use it everyday you can easily go upto a more than 6 months I know I have! Overall I love it and use it on a weekly basis but sometimes two weeks gap which I shouldn't but my schedule :( oh well no cribbing Alhamdulillah I'm doing well.

We recommend you all to try it , if you're looking for a gentle every week kind of a skin peel off mask. Oh and just to see if it suits your skin you can ask the Sales team at the store to try it on you they have a mini facial service which I had availed and that's how I decide what to buy so do that it's a wonderful experience!

Review: Rimmel Kate Moss Highlight Contour Kit

Hiiii y'all! We just tried out our first ever contour kit since we really weren't into it when the whole trend started earlier last year. We were just so busy trying to perfect our basic makeup skills, like that perfect winged eyeliner, lol - that we kept ourselves waaaaay far from contouring! We were however a little curious of how it we would turn out if we tried it out on ourselves.

So recently, the forever Awesome people at "Rimmel's Middle East" sent a bunch of goodies from their latest releases and one of them was their "Rimmel's first sculpting palette designed by Kate Moss".

It's a super cute sculpting palette with 3 shades to highlight, Contour and blush. It's divided into 3 compartments and each of the case is numbered 1,2,3 accordingly with no.1 being the "Illuminer" that highlights, No. 2 the "Sculpter" that contours, and No.3 the "Colourer" that adds Blush.

Packaging:

The Kate Sculpting and Highlighting Kit comes in a chic rose-gold and black portable compact perfectly echoing Kate’s natural sense of chic and also features a three-step guide and helpful visual on the reverse making application super-simple. The compact’s elegant asymmetric shape is set-off by Kate’s distinctive signature.

Contouring is the at home version of a face lift without the expensive price tag.The Kate Sculpting & Highlighting Kit is a clever combo of three powder shades: a highlighter, shading powder and blush - that seamlessly blend with your natural skin tone to create a healthy, radiant, sculpted look. The kit works with every face shape and skin tone, adding definition and structure.

Instructions:

The kit makes sculpting and contouring as easy as 1, 2, 3…

1. The soft shimmer highlighter is used to highlight areas that naturally catch the light - cheek bones, brow bones, the centre of the chin, forehead and bridge of the nose.

2. The darker shading powder is used to contour and recede areas of the face that you don’t want to emphasise, such as the sides of the nose, jaw line and hairline.

3. The shimmer powder blush gives definition and colour to the cheeks and added warmth to the whole face.

Our Review:

Rimmel's Sculpting Palette is a pretty simple by itself, it's simplicity is what attracted us at first! Like I said we used to keep ourselves from the popular trend of conturing just because of How Complex we thought it would be, this kit actually made us want to try it on ourselves and see the results. I love how they've numbered all the shades and named them according to their job, this is perfect for beginners like us who really want to get the Job done without having to watch 10 gazillion YouTube tutorials on "how to contour for dummies"- (something I would do, lol). Also they've given this quick manual behind the palette that shows all the places you have to contour, highlight and add blush too, making your job more simpler!

Moving on to pigmentation, I found it very lightly pigmented. A good 3 to 4 swipes with my finger gave that satisfying shade one needs. Now this could differ from person to person depending on their skin tone- oh, forgot to mention, we got the Rimmel Sculpting palette in 002 CORAL GLOW.

However, it wasn't really disappointing since it didn't make us look all like "BOOM"! We think this would be perfect for the type of girls who like to go for a more simpler light look without over doing and overly emphasizing the natural contours of our faces.

It's staying power is good enough to last for just a couple of hours, requiring touch up for at least the blush if you're gonna have it (the makeup) on for the whole day.

Rating:

We would give it a 3 out of 5 stars because It's cute, travel friendly, easy to use and perfect for beginners but it's pigmentation and stay-on power is a little low.

Review: Bourjois City Radiance & Radiance Reveal

Anywho, moving on..So we got two super fun products from Bourjois; Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer & Bourjois City Radiance Foundation. Sounds exciting yeah? Let's jump to their Review now!

What they claim about Radiance Reveal? (The Concealer)

A concentrated moisturizer that hides dark circles...or a concealer that hydrates like a skin care product, it's as you want! The objective? An even, smoothed eye contour, with hidden blemishes.

Our Review:
Ok so we love how to cute this is, it's a little cuboid glass bottle with a very easy wand applicator! It would be perfect to carry around in your little "essentials" beauty bag. Moving to the product itself, I found the concealer very light weight which they claim, so that's great! I did however feel like one application didn't give much coverage so I decided to apply again & the results were much better. It did give a little Cakey feeling though but not an over-drying effect . I love how it has Mont Blanc Glacier water and hyaluronic acid added to it, it sure gave a luxurious feel. It also did give a illuminating effect which is a plus point. I, however, felt my skin a little oily after a few hours, so it didn't give much a matte look, but then powder'ing up will probably tone down that effect. Over all I liked the product and will definitely keep on using it. Also I'd like how it had ample product in the bottle.

Instructions:

Apply by tapping gently the dark circle or blemish gently with the foam tip, then lightly blur with the finger.

Exactly what the fine and fragile eye contour area needs to fight the first sign of fine wrinkles caused by dehydration.With Mont Blanc glacier water and hyaluronic acid.

It is available in 3 shades to hide bluish or pinkish dark circles depending on your complexion.

What they claim about City Radiance?(The Foundation):

Our Review:

I've used this more than a few times now and I feel it's safe to say it's great for everyday use, it's super light weight doesn't feel like there's a full base foundation on your face, but it coverage and lasts long. It Smells wonderful! I loveeee how it has sunscreen for someone like me who has a lot of work outside as well as in the office, it's perfect since work can get super hectic and no one honestly remembers to put on sunscreen, at least I don't ! It gives a brightening effect to your skin immediately. The texture is comparable to a BB cream but a giving more coverage than a BB cream plus it has sunscreen, so yeah! I love how it has an Anti-pollution screen that's a pretty unique feature in a foundation.

This is enriched with coated pigments, which create an affinity with the skin; They provide a perfect hold throughout the day and boost the natural radiance of the skin.

City Radiance’s light and airy formula hydrates the skin continuously for 24 hours while protecting it from aggressive urban factors. The bonus? A texture that lets the skin breathe, so comfortable that you even forget it's on. With its anti-pollution screen, City Radiance helps the possibility of carbon particles settling on the skin and provides a bare skin finish.
