Assalamualaikum Our Beautiful Readers!

How's everyone getting along with Winter? Except folks from Aussie land of course! So a few weeks ago, I got a surprise from the wonderful Rimmel Team and I'll be talking all about it in today's post because I'm in love with it and I think it deserves nothing less!

In other news, I'm really bummed that winter is leaving us already (in Bahrain) it's like 25 /27 degrees centigrade these days! :( Have been caught up house hunting sorry for being so MIA but not for long in sha Allah. Alright, let me focus and get back to topic so we'll start with what they claim:

Okay, first things first you need to know - the shade I received out of the available was High Flyer (pretty apt for me if I may say so myself :p hehe I kid!) Oh and after the swatches below we've shown the other shades available below just FYI.

So , I applied this with a really light hand so I'm pretty sure if you press harder and swipe they're will be more pigmentation sorry about that but the two swipes proves what I'm trying to say.

Then I felt the need to do more better swatches so here below:

Review: Bourjois Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet

Today we're writing all about a wonderful range of hybrid lip colors (liquid lipstick & ligloss) introduced to us by sweet Ms. Claudia on behalf of Bourjois and to know our thoughts about it without further a due let's begin:

Packaging: Is beautiful if you ask me , I'm in love with the bottles. As you can see below, it has a frosted matte lacquered bottle, conjuring up the veil of color on the lips.

What they claim?

Bourjois creates Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet,Matte colour veil, Blushed lips effect. The new sheer matte effect on your lips. Elegant, discreet... a matte that’s easy to wear Rouge Edition Souffle de Velvet never compromises between colour and comfort.
Enriched with hydration-guarding agents, its velvety formula gives a soft sensation with up to 10-hour hydration..
A fine and smooth veil is applied on the lips with a light, silky texture, a real bare lips sensation. The light as air matte effect is born!

Review:

Alright, so when we saw this online we were pretty confused why it's called sheer matte color veil and a veil of softness without compromising color and comfort. It's light as air matte version that they claim is so true!
It actually is a lighter version of matte.
What I really like about it is that it gives a fresh makeup look instantly especially the lighter shades they're perfect for no makeup makeup kind of days and it's super long lasting , they claim it holds for up to 10 hours I'd give it a 6-7 hrs.
They also claimed its fragrance is of blueberries and violet I felt mine smelled like peach lol no idea how that happened but you know it's not annoying it's a subtle scent.
It feels super light on the lips not heavy in texture at all not sure if you can see it in the swatches.
