Rasasi GCC Tenth Anniversary Celebration!

Assalamalaikum Everyone,

This post is dedicated to the wonderful Rasasi Group as we joined them to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. There was a photo booth , delicious cupcakes their spokesperson gave a short and sweet talk about the company history.

We would love to start this post with giving you a short Rasasi (Bahrain City Centre) so scroll below and if you'd like to skip to our recommendations check our photographs towards the end of this post.

I loved the whole store and all the scents but this Bukhoor section was very thoughtful and they've made it convenient for customers to purchase and try them and it is available to purchase as per your requirement.

As you can see below this is the part of their store with the Packaged Bukhoor, Air Fresheners and beginning of their extensive Itthar Collection.

The fanciest packaging I found at Rasasi is the one in the image below.

The best part is that if you want to gift yourself or anybody in your family and friends then this would be a great retail outlet to visit as you can see the packaging and prices are both very impressive!

These below are the latest in their collection which is a youth filled vibrant collection is Seen, Taa, Waaw & Raa , price range was around BD. 14 or BD. 12 as far as I remember.

I loved all these scents it was very difficult to choose a favorite! I definitely recommend you all to try all of them. My favorite was Raa !

Their most expensive perfume range is Boruzz in store as I was told. The price is near BD. 45/-

A very big and special thank you to Leslie and Rasasi for inviting us and giving us such valuable gifts, we will be doing a special dedicated post on them.

We recommend all our readers to visit their store as the whole collection be it the Perfumes,Air Fresheners, Ithar and Bukhoors of a large variety are lovely there is something everyone would like, I believe.

Home Centre launches a New Collection and Women's Tuesdays!

Assalamalaikum Everyone,

The Middle East's leading furniture store Home Centre unveiled a brand new collection that's already out in all stores now along with some new features which we're excited about , as we are loyal regular shoppers at Home Centre so let's get right into all the details.

Home Centre launched its weekly in-store event called "Women's Tuesdays". The good thing about Women's Tuesdays is that you get 15% off selected items , refreshments and much more.

Let's tell you about the event now. As we arrived, we were all seated and then the executives from Home Centre began talking about all the new features!

The Presentation.

The executives showed us many new features - beginning with their newly launched there MyHome catalog which shows all the products available , features of it and prices as well as the warranty of most of the products.

Home Centre also launched its weekly in-store event called "Women's Tuesdays". The good thing about Women's Tuesdays is that you get 15% off selected items , refreshments and much more.

A few months ago, Home Centre, finally launched its online store offering in Bahrain, while it has been available for a while in the UAE, but now, users based in Bahrain can browse and buy a wide range of products online, with free shipping on purchases over BD. 20 and you can also pick up your order in store, which is a pretty cool thing.

In addition to this, Home Centre also launched Augmented Reality (AR) functionality on its mobile app, which lets you see that furniture you picked and want, on your phone in real time , basically think of it as "Snapchat Lens" but with sofas and dining tables, instead of that "hot dog costume man". It has been made possible by Apple's ARKit API, hence, it's currently available only on iOS, with Android support coming soon. (Click here to download the Home Centre app)

Aldo Pay It Forward Campaign!

Today, we're posting a different kind of post it's a recap post because this was a wonderful experience we could not just leave it at that so we had to tell you all about the Aldo Pay It Forward Campaign. Where we reached at 7:30 AM and there were already 4/5 people who had reached before us and were already in line !

We shall begin by showing you the amazing line up of crowds that had come from all over Bahrain to attend the 2 hour extravaganza!

That was outside, now let's take you all the way inside up to the ALDO store.

Everyone was trying to keep themselves busy on their phones or by talking to their neighbors as the whole mall was closed.

Now, as you reached the store i.e - at the end of the line, just before our turn we got these cards , which we had to give inside along with our slightly used shoes after which we got to pick any pair of shoes for completely free.

The excitement got to me thus the blurry picture!

Inside, everything was quite calm before the timer hit as we all had 15 minutes to pick a pair and everyone got to try on two pairs before they finalized what they wanted! The catch was that it was for only two hours (9AM to 11AM), they were letting in 25 customers at a time for only fifteen minutes.

Once, the timer hit the store was buzzing with excitement and happy kind of chaos, people were running from one side of the store to the other trying to decide which pair they'd like to get as we could try on only two different types before we finalized.

He was in shock with the choice variety as you can see!

It wasn't just him, we all were spoiled for choice it was their latest AW'16 collection.

This is what I picked for my little sister.

The staff were all working at an amazing speed to cater to all twenty five of us in the given time frame. It honestly felt like we were in a live game show hehe.

One more thing, as we were leaving the staff were clapping and thanking us I mean come on how much more sweeter could they be, they were thanking us for our donations and we already got pay back as new shoes.

Last but certainly not the least, I took this picture when I was leaving the store leaving behind the remainder of our batch of people still trying to make their choices. Oh and one more thing as we left the people in the line waiting were staring at us I felt so guilty lol for being in the first batch but the I reminded myself that I got up at 5:30am to be here, life is all about choices right?!

All in all, it was an amazing initiative by one of the most prominent handbags and shoes brand in the world. Glad Sulmaniya Rotary Club took the partnership and responsibility to give the needy shoes just before winter began and what a winter it's been.
