Now, for my version of the evening which began with us being introduced to our hosts as well us all just catching up with each other and getting to know each other. A selected bunch of bloggers were invited to attend the First Bloggerang Meetup.

The Host - Zeeba!

Zeeba was a sweetheart , she began by telling us her story about how she came to know about Bloggerang and just about her life and perspectives, its always to hear peoples experiences! After that each of us had 3-5 minutes to give a brief introduction about ourselves and how we entered social media life!

This was followed by appetizers and a short note by one of the employees of Obai & Hill (who helped Bloggerang organize this event and are also our ex-agents) in regards to the marketing situation in Bahrain and how companies measure social media advertising results.

After that enlightening note we had a panel discussion regarding the social media marketing and how bloggers and influencers are treated by Marketing Agencies as well as Companies in Bahrain. In between this dinner was served. We also most importantly discussed how Bloggerang can help match bloggers with the relevant agencies with a minimal annual membership fees and perks it carries with it. Quite a useful tool for new bloggers or new bloggers in a country they are unfamiliar with as it is an international group! This is the link in case you all wan to learn more about them and the perks of joining them. http://bloggerang.com/

It was a good discussion overall , I personally learned a lot about the marketing environment here. Now let me spend a little post space in showing you all the delicious food we were served by Nino!

This above image, was the menu which we were presented with along with the agenda of the evening. The Food was absolutely scrumptious as always as it was Nino's after all, if you're hungry right now it's probably a good idea to come back and read the post ahead later hehe.

Prawn Tempura!
The Famous Nino Fries!
Bite Size Appetizers but ever so filling!

My all time Favorites- Red Velvet Cake Chocolate Mousse Cake! Along with Layered Pistachio Crepe!

We'd like to thank Bloggerang (Zeba) for inviting us and introducing us to this wonderful concept which matches our thinking about every blogger being special and no matter how many followers a blogger has doesn't make them any less of a talented individual with the potential to achieve much more they are able to at the moment. Also, we love the fact that they treat people of different ethnicity, age, cultures and nationalities like one big community unlike the usual bias we have personally faced by marketing agencies herein Bahrain!

Thank you also to Obai & Hill for arranging generous goodie bags for all of us and the lovely dinner by Nino!

Lots of Love,
The Syeda Sisters!
