"Vintage Luxury" by Rayya Gilani

Hi Girls,

This post is all about an upcoming designer named Syeda Rayya Fatima Gilani who is a graduate of Fashion Design from Pakistan Institute Fashion Design. We spotted her at Pakistan Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015 that took place at Expo Center in Lahore in April this year. Designer Rayya Gilani made her debut with a High-Street collection titled ‘Vintage Luxury’

Inspired from the luxurious side of the Victorian era, Rayya has used a variety of fabrics such as silks, organza, lace and nets in a diverse color palette of gold, black, grey along with shades of pink and purple. All the accessories used in the fashion show were handmade, we loved the detail and efforts put into that as well.

Key trends that were highlighted in the collection were graphic prints, vintage/floral prints, high waist skirts, straight pants, straight knee length Jackets/boxy jackets and straight silhouettes. She takes custom orders from clients therefore quality and beauty is guaranteed from her side.

As you can see above, she is a very talented girl who in two years has come a long way in the Pakistani Fashion scene and to be part of such a prestigious event and showcase your talent in such a way is an amazing achievement.
