Rimmel's Eid Look Gift Box! ( REVIEW: Exaggerate Eyeliner & Provocalips)

Assalamalaikum to everyone and a very big SORRY for being super MIA (will do a post about why we've been so away from the blog in a few days!) But for now I need to tell you lovely people about these two wonderful products which have become my favorite since I received them!!!

Over the Summer , we received a bunch of goodies from Rimmel!

Lets start with the packaging which is just super cute, compact and therefore travel friendly.
As for the working its a s wand stick eye liner which we have to start using as soon as we open the packaging. Swipe it on your upper waterline or just above your eye lashes for a precise line as it's quite a thin wand. It is also long lasting as it is waterproof.

You are about to see the reason why I love this product below, the wand!

Now, I'm going to talk about my GO-TO liquid lipstick these days because of the beautiful color and how super long lasting it is!

Glides on super smoothly, dries up very soon and with the sealer it stays put literally for the whole day , I used the same lipstick all three days of Eid and with all the chit chatting and eating during the house hopping , it didn't budge , I had to use wipes to remove it when I came back home!

I keep forgetting to take pictures when I use this , therefore I thought why not show you all the true colors of this product by showing it right out of the packaging.

The second awesome part about this product.. the sealer , it was completely white when I got it but one of the days in a rush before waiting for the lipstick to dry I applied the sealer and oh well it got a little tainted but works perfectly fine!

Since, I need to show you all here why I love it so much this brush wand helps give a much darker extended eyelash tried, tested and approved!

I've used both of them thoroughly, the medium one is super natural looking and the shade Radiance is for fancier days where you'd like to have a bit of highlight or glitter on your face along with the other benefits.

I totally agree to the fact that it's super makeup as it does the job of a primer,base,foundation,sunscreen,moisturize and smoothed my skin and brightens it up too so everything in one , what more would you want from a BB cream?! It's best for people on the run

As far as rating goes as a BB cream they worked perfectly so I give them 4.5/5 stars! I would definitely repurchase it!

Review:
When there are so many claims being made products usually don't live up to the hype but not in this case! I've tried it on for the whole day I can safely say I had no issues with it it was definitely sweat proof, didn't smudge one bit dried almost instantaneously and lasted (stayed on) with the same effects the whole day and by the end of the day I had no issues removing it took me 2 minutes!Now the 11 times more volume part I can't say for sure but it definitely gave me more length and volume than my bare lashes. So, if you'd like a super affordable , easy to use and quick effective mascara then this is for you!

Rimmel Stay Matte - Fix & Protect

Assalamualaikum Beautiful People,

Are you girls seeing the amount of fog these days and nights even more around the Middle East and even in Pakistan! It's been years since I saw so much fog and mist! Any who let's talk about Rimmel's Primer & Foundation today!

I was super excited when I got this package as there were quite a few different variants of foundations to test out the others are coming up in the next posts but for now we start with the make up primer as it's the first step before applying foundation, and I am saying this because a lot of beginners also read our posts and like us they're learning too.

Anyway, once you've applied this make up primer it has a very smooth application it's a white liquid not runny , stable and easy to apply all over but it has a glittery finish which another primer of mine doesn't have, but it gives a fresher and brighter look so good thing oh and just by the way I, (Areesha) have dry skin so I apply a moisturizer before primer or else it just dries up and highlights my dry skin even more, so that's a no no please go ahead applying it with a moisturizer like (Nivea, Creme21 or whichever you use) and you'll get the smooth and light primer finish as I did. For a no makeup kinda day it gives your face a bright glitter shine that I could pull it off with just this primer and it has SPF 25!

The unique feature about this liquid mousse foundation for me was that it was 2 to 3 shades darker than my skin tone as you can see it's Shade 402: Bronze and matt finish so it totally gave me an awesome Matt dewy finish and tanned look ;)

It's all about being positive honestly I could sit and rant about it being darker but hey darker doesn't make a difference it still looks wonderful and what mattered to me the most was that it has amazing coverage but you should obviously look into a lighter shade option if you're conscious of your skin tone. It lasted the whole day and it is lightweight as claimed didn't feel like I have a thick layer on my face.

How's everyone getting along with Winter? Except folks from Aussie land of course! So a few weeks ago, I got a surprise from the wonderful Rimmel Team and I'll be talking all about it in today's post because I'm in love with it and I think it deserves nothing less!

In other news, I'm really bummed that winter is leaving us already (in Bahrain) it's like 25 /27 degrees centigrade these days! :( Have been caught up house hunting sorry for being so MIA but not for long in sha Allah. Alright, let me focus and get back to topic so we'll start with what they claim:

Okay, first things first you need to know - the shade I received out of the available was High Flyer (pretty apt for me if I may say so myself :p hehe I kid!) Oh and after the swatches below we've shown the other shades available below just FYI.

So , I applied this with a really light hand so I'm pretty sure if you press harder and swipe they're will be more pigmentation sorry about that but the two swipes proves what I'm trying to say.

Then I felt the need to do more better swatches so here below:

Review:

My first impressions about this were *staring at the shade* and saying such a pretty shade hehe to be honest and then I used it and fell in love with it because of how smoothly it glided onto my lips. As they claim it is velvety in texture but does give a light Matt look it isn't completely dry liquid lipstick kind of a matte but the color payoff if a lot as you'll see in my swatch below! It's not food proof as it did last me the whole morning but as soon as I had lunch it rubbed off :( but it pulled through 6 hours straight which was enough to impress me! Oh not to forget it feels like there is nothing on your lips literally after the first few minutes my lips felt like they usually do without a lipstick on! In conclusion, it's a lovely lipstick to add to anyone's collection and with the range of shades they have there is a shade for everyone!

Swatches:

This is the swatch of shade 112 which we received from Ms. Sophie as you can see it's the darkest shade and being Asians this shade is super flattering and suits us the most!
