Kebabish Dinner Review!

7/28/2018

Assalamalaikum Bahrain!

Today's post is all about our dinner at Kebabish in Manama near Shifa Al Jazeera and right opposite to Asha's. It's a fairly new restaurant that has opened its doors to customers, a few months ago and they have a chef straight from Karachi. How could we not go?!

We went on the opening day as they had tagged us on Instagram that they are opening. As you can see we were quick to order Chicken Tikka, Behari Kebab and Dhaga Kebab.
So we started by trying the Chicken Tikka , it was not spicy at all just a typical Tikka nothing out of the ordinary, it was the usual.

The mint and chili chutney was amazing!
Starting with our favorite the Behari Kebab which is super rare to find in Bahrain. They were very well cooked tender and very spicy but we loved them a lot! It's hard to find good Behari Kebab on a menu in Bahrain. So, we were very happy that we found it.

The Puri with Bihari Kabab
Their seating arrangement was only upstairs when we visited, therefore everyone looking to dine in  will need to take the staircase and find a seat.

This below is the Dhaga Kabab, it was also delicious, no unfavorable scent of meat, soft and tender cooked just the way we like it and spicy but not too spicy and not bland at all. Something different as it comes tied with a thread and is cooked that way and something new that we got to try so if you'd like to try a new twist on Kababs try this one! The green chutney and the puri (that was delicious) complimented it very well.

Dhaga Kabab
The naan were fresh right out of the oven and Pakistani roti shop style so we loved them too! As for the Puris - Mum and I loved them so much so that we ordered extra just to eat with the Chutney , so that was a winner for sure!

We loved it a lot as you can see below , we finished everything in a very short span of time. It was filling too as the servings were enough for the four of us to devour in to.

We left the restaurant satisfied and happy. We were wishing there were a few more things added to the menu that we could try but it was all grills available that day. Maybe as they had just started the business, it would be risky to have a lot on the menu in the beginning but I have seen on their Instagram that they have added a few more items to the menu that were not there before when we had visited, on the day of the soft opening.

Truck Art is always add a great Desi feel to the place.
As we were leaving baba was curious about who the chef and he ended up finding out that he knew the chef's grandfather and father from the restaurant they had in Karachi.
Looking forward to visiting again. This is not at all a sponsored post, we paid for everything with our own money and our opinions are only our own others may or may not agree with us.
